Description: Barcelo Playa Tambor Resort All-Inclusive is located on four miles of beach on Bahia Ballena, approximately 30 miles from Paquera (where the ferry is to get to Puntarenas and the road to Juan Santa Maria Airport).

Hotel amenities include El Palenque (snack bar), El Tucan (buffet restaurant), El Ron Ron (poolside bar), El Cocobolo (lobby bar), El Rancho (discotheque), a casino, library, an ecological park, amphitheater with live entertainment, a swimming pool with waterfall for children and adults, hot tub, solarium, aquatic center, windsurfing, boogie board, and shuffleboard. There is a nine-hole, par-35 golf course at the adjacent Barcelo Los Delfines.
