Costa Rica's flag

Costa Rica's flag consists of red, white and blue stripes, with the coat of arms embedded throught the middle red stripe. Costa Rica's coat of arms illustrates the Caribbean sea and the Pacific Ocean among ships, the setting sun and volcanoes. Each of the stars represents a Costa Rican province.
